"Make Ready" is the process where our service technicians restore previously occupied apartment homes to their original condition or in other words, make them ready and perfect for our future residents.
A "Service Request" is a request from a resident regarding a needed maintenance repair with their apartment home. It's vital that our maintenance teams address and resolve a service request within a 24-hour period. This level of service is a MAA trademark, and our maintenance teams are the best of the best.
"Preventative Maintenance" includes daily inspection that prevents any serious problems from happening in the first place. Just like a checkup at the doctor's office, this ensures that everything is running smoothly and operating in tip-top shape. An Apartment Make Ready Technician is key to getting an empty apartment home ready for the next resident. Preparing a unit can encompass multiple skills including painting, pressure washing, grounds keeping, and basic maintenance tasks.
Apartment Maintenance Technician
Essential at our communities! An Apartment Maintenance Tech performs maintenance and repairs to ensure apartments and facilities are in top shape. Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical appliances, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.

Apartment Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor leads and coordinates the maintenance team through repairs and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes. The Supervisor helps to hire, train, and coach maintenance staff and monitors the community for quality and safety.

Regional Service Manager
The Regional Service Manager supports the properties in day-to-day operational issues and helps in completing tasks necessary to meet performance benchmarks including supervising staff, ordering parts, scheduling vendor service, completing work orders, and performing preventive maintenance.
Regional Service Director
Our Regional Service Directors evaluate all preventive and routine maintenance programs, assist with interviews and associate on-boarding, help in the preparation of future budgets, assist with due diligence inspections on potential acquisition properties.
